Duties and Responsibilities: To perform vehicle maintenance or trouble shoot defects and carry out repairs as necessary. To perform servicing and MOT preparation. Carry out occasional breakdowns using company service vans. Strong experience that has both breadth and depth of knowledge of trucks, trailers, engines, gearboxes, axles, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnosis and be able to use diagnostic equipment. Produce details of job on a job card, service sheet and daily time log. Communicate with supervisory staff regularly to keep them updated on the progress of your job.
