HGV Mechanic

Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of HGVs and commercial vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other critical components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Carry out welding and soldering tasks to repair or modify vehicle parts as needed. Assemble new vehicle components or modify existing parts to meet operational specifications. Repair and maintain auxiliary equipment such as excavators, forklifts, and other heavy machinery used in operations.
