Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. You will be involved in all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. With ongoing training and development opportunities, this position will suit a skilled technician looking for a long-term career within a supportive and professional environment.Role Description:Conducting routine inspections, servicing, and diagnostics on HGVsCarrying out reactive repairs and preventative maintenanceFault finding on mechanical and electrical systemsWelding, fabrication, and assembly of vehicle componentsReading and interpreting schematics and electrical diagramsRepair and maintenance of auxiliary equipment including excavators and forkliftsMaintaining accurate service and repair recordsEnsuring compliance with all Health and Safety proceduresSupporting workshop housekeeping and operational standardsProviding excellent customer service and repair updatesSkills and Qualifications:Previous HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance experienceStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skillsAbility to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagramsWelding, fabrication, and soldering experience desirableExperience ..... full job details .....
