HGV Mechanic

Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well-established industrial business based in Kirkcaldy on a full-time permanent basis, with a salary of up to -45,000 per annum.

Our client operates a busy facility with a fleet of HGV vehicles requiring ongoing maintenance within a heavy industrial environment, offering stable, long-term employment for the right candidate.

What''s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
• -38,000 to -45,000 per annum dependent on experience
• Very occasional back shift and weekend cover required

As an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:

• Carrying out regular servicing and preventative maintenance across a range of makes and models
• Responding to and resolving breakdown situations efficiently
• Maintaining accurate service, maintenance and compliance records
• Ensuring all work meets relevant safety standards

To be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:

• A minimum of 3 years experience working on HGV units and trailers
• A valid UK driving licence
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional approach to work
