Position: HGV MechanicLocation: RedditchSalary: £35,000 - £50,000HGV Mechanic required for an established plant hire company supplying machinery to the construction industry for over 30 years. Based in Hanbury, Redditch, the successful candidate will join an experienced in-house maintenance team responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining a fleet of road sweepers, excavators, HGVs and commercial vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Mechanic looking for a varied role combining workshop and mobile-based maintenance activities, with ongoing training and development available.HGV Mechanic Job OverviewService, maintain and repair a fleet of road sweepers, excavators, HGVs and commercial vehiclesCarry out fault finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairsWork both from the company workshop and at customer/site locations as requiredPrepare vehicles for MOT inspections and present vehicles for testingAttend breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance when requiredEnsure all work is completed to a high standard whilst maintaining excellent customer serviceWork independently and as part of a team to meet operational requirementsHGV Mechanic Job RequirementsPrevious experience maintaining HGVs or commercial vehiclesRoad sweeper experience desirable but not essential as training will be providedAbility to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficientlyFamiliarity and experience with Automotive Diagnostic systemsClass 2 HGV Licence is preffered ..... full job details .....
