If you''re looking for a stable role with variety, responsibility, and the chance to grow your skills, we''d love to hear from you.Role OverviewCarry out servicing and maintenance of a modern HGV fleetComplete MOT preparation workConduct 6, 8 and 10-weekly inspection checks on HGV vehicles and trailersUndertake mechanical and electrical repairsProduce accurate and timely inspection and service reportsOrder spare parts and components when requiredPerform additional workshop tasks related to fleet repair and maintenanceWork effectively in a fast-paced, time-critical environmentReport directly to the General Manager and operate as a key member of the workshop teamRequirementsPrevious experience in an HGV/Heavy Goods mechanical roleValid C+E driving licence (in date)Knowledge of Scania, DAF or Mercedes tractor units (desirable)Tail-lift qualification or experience (advantageous, but training can be provided)Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and commitment to "right first time" standardsWillingness to undergo further training and skill developmentSalary and Benefits£21.00 per hourFlexible working hours ..... full job details .....
