HGV Mechanic

Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Romford Job Type: Full-time Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm (Overtime available) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our clients Romford location. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. This includes carrying out routine maintenance, diagnosing faults, and completing high-quality repairs. This is a static position with occasional travel to breakdwons required. HGV Technician Key ResponsibilitiesRepair or replace components including engines, transmissions, and braking systemsEnsure all vehicles meet current HGV legislation and safety standardsUse diagnostic tools to accurately identify faultsInterpret diagnostic data and determine appropriate repair actionsAssess issues reported by drivers and carry out initial fault diagnosisMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service historyHGV Technician RequirementsProven experience in vehicle maintenance and repairMinimum 3 years'' experience in a commercial vehicle workshop or similar environmentNVQ Level 3 in HGV Service and Maintenance (preferred)IRTEC accreditation (advantageous)Category C+E driving licence (essential)Strong mechanical and diagnostic skillsHGV Technician Salary and Benefits 55k basic salaryPaid Overtime availableFree on-site parkingReferral programmeBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical ..... full job details .....
