Responsibilities: Carry out full servicing, maintenance and repair of HGV units within a busy fleet environment Routine servicing, inspections and general mechanical upkeep of Volvo and Scania vehicles Diagnose and repair diesel engines, gearboxes, clutches and driveline systems Work on air brake systems, ABS/EBS, discs and complete braking diagnostics Use manufacturer software (Volvo Tech Tool, Scania SDP3) for fault codes and diagnostics Service and repair trailers including brake systems, axles, suspension and lighting Carry out PMIs, MOT preparation and ensure vehicles meet UK roadworthiness standards Balance planned maintenance with fast response to breakdowns to minimise fleet downtime Entry Requirements: City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Engineering or equivalent qualification 3+ years as an HGV Mechanic working within a comm...
