Ipsum has a new and exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual to join our team. As part of our ongoing growth and commitment to Openreach, we are seeking desilt/gully team operators. You will be part of a team operating our high-spec Jetvac units to clean Openreach’s underground infrastructure. You will work alongside Openreach engineers, performing manhole, box, and chamber cleaning, as well as civils avoidance/blockage clearance. Using our Ipsum Live job management system, you’ll provide real-time reporting to the client, job management, safety reporting, and more to efficiently manage your day’s work.As HGV Jetting Engineer you will

Drive and operate HGV jetting equipment on a day-to-day basisCarry out suction activitiesEnsure compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality and EnvironmentAdhere to company policies and report on-site incidents to your SupervisorContribute and respond quickly to resolve problems before they escalateWork closely with Openreach engineers and follow on-site instructionsProduce blockage reportsEstablish good relationships and communications to resolve issues and pre-empt potential problemsFlexibility to operate 24/7 with early starts, weekend work and out-of-hours shiftsAbout you
