HGV I Driver

A well-established and growing haulage company based in Gt Bromley is looking for experienced Hgv 1 Driver to join their professional team on Days or Night work, focusing on the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. The ideal candidate needs strong communication skills, a valid commercial driving license, and a commitment to safety. Key responsibilities: Operating lorries to deliver goods on time Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good condition Communicating effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff Loading and unloading cargo securely Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Providing excellent customer service to clients Required skills: Strong communication skills Proficiency in driving various types of vehicles (flatbed lorries, vans) Experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driving license Basic mechanical knowledge to identify vehicle issues and perform minor repairs Previous experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is advantageous Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work details: 50 hours Job type: Full-time Pay: £37,698.85 per year Days Pay: £43,698.85 per year Nights Benefits: Cycle to work scheme, and Work Location: In person.
