HGV Fleet Technician/Mechanic

HGV Experience Essential Commercial Fleet MaintenanceWe are recruiting an experienced HGV Fleet Technician / Mechanic to join a growing transport operation responsible for maintaining a large fleet of commercial vehicles.This role will involve servicing, maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet ranging from 3.5-tonne light commercial vehicles through to 26-tonne HGVs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and operational, helping to minimise downtime and maximise fleet reliability.If you''re an experienced mechanic with a strong background working on HGVs and commercial vehicles, we''d love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain and repair commercial vehicles and HGVsDiagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and technical faultsCarry out planned maintenance and vehicle inspectionsPrepare vehicles for MOT testing and compliance checksEnsure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant with relevant regulationsMaintain accurate maintenance and inspection recordsLiaise with external specialist contractors where requiredSupport continuous improvements to fleet performance and reliabilityEssential RequirementsThe key requirement for this position:Proven experience maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles (3.5 tonne to 26 tonne)You will also have:Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilitiesThe ability to work independently and manage your workload effectivelyA proactive approach to safety, ..... full job details .....
