      <description>Location: Bury | Salary: &amp;pound;20/hour | Type: Permanent | Connect Appointments is recruiting a  HGV Fitter/Technician  to join a business based in  Radcliffe.  Our client maintains a fleet of Iveco Daily 7.5 tonne vehicles, and is looking for someone to join on a temporary to permanent basis.   What''s on offer?    Temporary to permanent opportunity -  permanent after 12 weeks    Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm  - with occasional Saturday mornings  Paid at  -20 per hour     As an HGV Fitter/Technician, your duties will include:    Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing across a fleet of 7.5 tonne vehicles  Completing PMIs to schedule  Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults  Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records    To be considered as an HGV Fitter/Technician, you will need:    Proven experience as an HGV fitter or vehicle technician  Experience carrying out PMIs and routine servicing  Flexibility to cover occasional Saturday mornings  A reliable, methodical approach to work   Interested in this HGV Fitter/Technician role?
