HGV Fitter

Personnel Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Fitter to join our client in Sheffield. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the heavy-duty vehicles to ensure optimal safety, reliability, and performance. Up to 60k + Overtime over 40 hours Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm Saturday 7am-12pm Duties Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Carry out inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance Complete MOT preparation work Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with DVSA standards Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records Minimise vehicle downtime and support operational requirements Requirements Previous experience as an HGV Fitter, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop Class 1 (C+E) licence desirable IRTEC accreditation would be highly advantageous If you''re looking for a well-paid role with a reputable business where your skills are genuinely valued, we''d love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
