This is a permanent opportunity working shifts. We re looking for experienced, reliable, practical and safety-minded HGV fitter to carry out inspection, servicing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), trailers, and specialist support vehicles, including vacuum jetting tankers, to ensure they remain safe, roadworthy, and fully compliant with all relevant legislation and company standards. The role involves working on a mixed fleet of vehicles operating in a demanding industrial environment, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency at all times. What you ll be doing Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on HGVs, trailers, and specialist vehicles. Diagnose and repair faults involving engines, gearboxes, clutches, braking systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
