The company designs, builds and services a range of specialist commercial and municipal vehicles and is continuing to invest in its workshop and engineering teams due to increased demand. Working as part of a skilled workshop team, the HGV Fitter will be responsible for servicing, repairing and modifying heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.Duties of the HGV Fitter:Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and specialist vehiclesDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faultsInstalling and replacing vehicle components and equipmentCompleting inspections, safety checks and preventative maintenanceWorking from engineering drawings, job sheets and service schedulesPreparing vehicles for MOT and final inspectionCompleting all job documentation accuratelyMaintaining high housekeeping and health and safety standardsWe would welcome people to apply that ...
