We are looking for a HGV Fitter to join our team of HGV Fitters at our workshop in Ridham, Sittingbourne.About the role:To achieve and persistently maintain high standards of workmanship and competence in performing tasks associated with preventative maintenance checks and general maintenance, whilst also maintaining high standards of internal and external communications and relationships.Duties and Responsibilities:Carry out inspections, diagnosing any faults and defects on fleet vehicles, trailers, related equipment and components. This includes testing, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, and re-assembling as required.Participate in supporting operatives and employees in preventative maintenance checks, services and general maintenance/repairs of fleet vehicles, trailers, related equipment and components.Perform road tests.Perform emergency call out repairs as required.Competently operate electronic testing equipment and other hand tools.Maintain repair and service records on each vehicle.Complete all necessary ..... full job details .....
