This yard-based role is entirely free of multi-drop deliveries or public road driving, making it the ideal opportunity for newly passed drivers looking to gain valuable heavy goods vehicle experience. It is also an excellent fit for drivers who have let their Driver CPC or Digital Tachograph card lapse, as these are not required for this on-site yard position. The Role Shunting duties: Safely moving Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles and trailers around the secure client yard. Vehicle upkeep: Cleaning vehicle cabins and trailers to maintain high standards. Exterior cleaning: Jet washing vehicle exteriors and trailers. No road driving: This is a 100% on-site yard role with no multi-drop deliveries or customer-facing responsibilities. Hours of Work Day Shift pattern (Weekday and weekend shift patterns available). 9-hour shifts with all breaks fully paid.
