M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers based out of our clients Distribution Centre in Thrapston NN14 working on day or night shift.
Job requirements;
As a HGV 1 Driver, you will carry out a mix of multidrop and trunking deliveries, while collecting waste from stores in line with operational requirements. Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
Successful applicants will need: Skills / Experience / Training required:
Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
No more than 6 current penalty points
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
You are required to have 2+ years of experience as a HGV Driver
Hourly Rates
HGV 1 – days = £17.45 per hour & nights = £20.94 per hour
HGV 2 – days =£15.34 per hour & nights = £18.41 per hour
Drivers will be required to complete an assessment
