HGV Class 1 Driver - Days (Tarmac Work)About the RoleWe are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing Tarmac and construction site deliveries based out of Stanford-le-Hope (SS17).This is a Monday to Friday position with regular 06:00 starts, offering consistent work with a well-known and established logistics operator. Drivers will be delivering materials to construction, infrastructure, and industrial sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.DutiesCarry out Class 1 deliveries and collections to Tarmac, construction, and infrastructure sites.Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.Comply with Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time regulations.Follow all site-specific health and safety requirements.Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records.RequirementsValid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.Minimum of 6 months experience on Class 1 driving experience.No more than 6 points.Good understanding of UK road transport regulations.Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude.Experience working on construction or aggregate sites is beneficial but not essential.Mandatory PPE: Orange high-visibility clothing and a hard hat with chin strap are required for site access.Pay Rates:PAYE - £20.00 ph / £22.41 (holiday rolled up)LTD - £22.00 phWhat''s on OfferMonday to Friday work 06:00 startsOngoing assignmentsWeekly ..... full job details .....
