HGV Driver

HGV Driver Duties: - Safely operate a heavy-duty lorry to transport goods and materials to designated locations- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service- Operate hook loader/chain lift lorry in the Portadown/Banbridge area Experience: - Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver''s license, with a clean driving record- Previous experience as a class 1 driver or in a similar role preferred- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation industry- Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlinesJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £150.00 per dayBenefits: Company pension Free parkingAbility to commute/relocate: Cookstown BT80 9HJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience: Driving: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Driver CPC (preferred)Work Location: In ..... full job details .....
