HGV Driver (Class 1)Location: KentSalary: £35,000-£38,000 per year (dependent on hours)Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentSchedule: Flexible rotation + overtime availableAbout the RoleA well-established commercial fleet organisation is seeking a reliable and professional HGV Recovery Driver (Class 1) to support growing fleet operations. This role involves the safe movement and recovery of commercial vehicles between customer sites and depots, while maintaining exceptional service, safety, and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate HGV and recovery vehicles in line with UK road laws and company proceduresTransport, collect, and recover commercial vehicles between customer locations and depotsComplete vehicle collections and deliveries in line with planned schedulesCarry out thorough pre-use and post-use vehicle checks, reporting any issues promptlyEnsure all vehicles are safely loaded, secured, and transportedProvide a professional service when dealing with customers and third partiesAccurately complete all required paperwork and digital recordsAdhere to drivers'' hours, tachograph rules, and working time regulationsSupport depot operations when required, including occasional fleet movement assistanceSkills and Experience RequiredEssential:Valid Class 1 (CE) HGV licenceNo endorsementsDriver CPC and Digital Tachograph cardMinimum 2 years'' HGV driving experienceStrong understanding of UK road networksSafety-focused with strong compliance awarenessMechanical ..... full job details .....
