URGENTLY HIRING - HGV Class 2 Driver (Permanent) Wimbledon, SW19 £39,500 per annum + KPI and Attendance Bonuses Monday to Friday 48 hours per weekA well-established client of ours based in Wimbledon (SW19) is urgently seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their busy distribution operation on a full-time, permanent basis.The RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customer premises in line with a pre-set schedule. Vehicles are fully pre-loaded and prepared before shift start, allowing you to focus on safe and efficient deliveries.Start time: 4:00am (option to start earlier and finish earlier)Shift length: Approximately 10 hoursDrops: Around 12 multi-drops per dayRoutes: Nationwide deliveries with no overnight staysVehicle: Pre-loaded and ready before shiftRequirements - MUST HAVEValid HGV Class 2 (Category C) LicenceCPC or DQC card - essentialProven experience in a similar multi-drop driving roleExcellent knowledge of drivers'' hours and tachograph regulationsGood knowledge of UK road networksReliable, punctual, and customer-focusedMaximum 6 points on licence(Candidates with more than 6 points will only be considered if points are expiring very soon)Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out vehicle walkaround checks before useComplete deliveries as planned by the transport teamPick, check, and deliver ambient, chilled, and frozen goodsConfirm delivery quantities and update the POD system at point of deliveryRecord discrepancies, pallet ..... full job details .....
