HGV Class 2 Commercial DriverLocation: Ipswich , NationwideJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are seeking a dedicated Commercial Driver to join our Transport team, based at our Ipswich Warehouse but operating nationally. This role is ideal for someone who demonstrates professionalism and a positive attitude towards customer service, ensuring best practices for maximum efficiency in delivering and collecting goods nationwide.Day-to-day of the role:Day driving across the UK.Working hours are Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week between 04:00 and 22:00, with occasional overnight stays. Overtime available as required.Ensuring a professional and positive interaction with customers at all times.Adhering to safety standards, with full PPE provided including uniform, high-visibility clothing, and safety boots.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 6 months'' HGV driving experience in the UK.Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail.Good communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.Manual handling skills.A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work.Full valid Driver''s Licence with Category C (CLASS 2) - preferably a clean license.Digital Tachograph, Drivers Qualification Card (DQC), and Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Qualification.Benefits:Competitive salary and overtime opportunities.Comprehensive training and professional development.Full PPE provided.Opportunities for national travel.To ..... full job details .....
