Pay: £17.00 per hour
Hours: 18:00 to 06:00 / 50–55 hours per week (offering stability)
Shifts: Monday to Friday (NO Weekends)

The Role:
As a Class 1 (Shunter), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of night operations. Working as a Class 1 driver within the night team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers around the yard.
This position is ideal for a C&E Driver wanting consistent work in a supportive environment where learning and development are encouraged from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating as a CE driver, moving approximately 20 trailers per night
- Shunting units and trailers safely within the yard
- Supporting the wider night operation and working closely with the transport team
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining compliance with all driving regulations and site procedures
- Valid Class 1 (C&E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good awareness of health & safety standards
