HGV Driver - Livestock (Pigs)

45,000 per year Suffolk Full-time Permanent Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work Are you an experienced HGV driver with a background in livestock transport? We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Livestock Driver to join a growing team based in Suffolk. This is a hands-on role transporting pigs between farms and processing sites, where attention to detail, animal welfare and professionalism are key. What you will be doing Driving a modern HGV vehicle to transport pigs safely and legally Loading and unloading livestock in line with animal welfare regulations Carrying out pre-use vehicle checks and maintaining transport records Communicating with farm staff and managers to ensure timely deliveries Complying with all DEFRA and Red Tractor guidelines What we are looking for Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence Livestock transport experience, ideally with pigs Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card Understanding of animal welfare standards and handling techniques A positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong work ethic What you will get 45,000 annual salary Modern and well-maintained vehicles Consistent, year-round work Supportive working environment with a focus on welfare and safety Opportunities for overtime and additional earnings Apply now If you are a confident HGV driver with ..... full job details .....
