Could go temp to permStart Date: ASAPRole Details:Delivery / collection and setup of site accommodation (cabins) to create an administrative centre for the project durationRelocation of site accommodation as dictated by the company''s project requirementsDelivery / collection of plant / equipment to / from siteDelivery / collection of scaffold, site fencing, site materials and components Miscellaneous lifting requirementsAssist yard personnel with readying, loading, tidying and general housekeeping requirementsAssist yard personnel with maintenance and preparation of construction site cabins, including scraping / painting / cleaningRequirements:Valid HGV class 2 licence (class C)Valid Driver CPC cardValid digital tachograph cardProven experience as a HGV Driver or in a similar roleExcellent driving skills with a clean driving recordPhysical strength to load and unload heavy items safelyAwareness of current road haulage legislation and HGV operationsThorough driving knowledge of the North WestThorough understanding of current health and safety legislation and best practice in haulage and constructionProblem solving skillsResilience when working to fixed deadlines and managing riskEffective communication skills, both written and verbalIdeally, the successful postholder will also hold the following:valid lorry loader license (desirable)valid all terrain forklift licence ..... full job details .....
