Due to continued growth and demand, our client is expanding their transport operation and is looking to recruit 5 HGV Drivers to join their established and successful team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers who want a consistent Monday-to-Friday working pattern, a choice of shift and the security of working for a well-established business.

• -42,000 basic salary
• OTE of up to -50,000
• 44 hours per week
• Monday to Friday - no weekend working
• No nights out - home every day
• Choice of shift to suit you:
  • Earlies: 4:00am - 1:00pm
  • Lates: 1:00pm - 10:00pm

As an HGV Driver, you''ll play an important role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently and on time to customers.

You''ll be responsible for the safe and compliant operation of your vehicle, carrying out deliveries to customer sites and maintaining a professional standard of service throughout your working day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating HGV vehicles in line with all relevant legislation and company procedures
• Completing deliveries safely, accurately and on time
• Following delivery instructions and customer requirements
• Maintaining a high standard of professionalism when dealing with customers, colleagues and members of the public
• Completing tachograph records, manual entries and vehicle defect reports accurately
• Ensuring vehicles are operated within legal speed and weight limits
• Completing all required delivery documentation and paperwork
• Following company and customer Health & Safety procedures
• Complying with relevant site, environmental and operational procedures
• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Supporting the wider transport operation when required

We''re looking for professional and reliable HGV Drivers who take pride in their work and have a strong commitment to safety.

Ideally, you''ll have:

• Class 1 C+E licence - preferred
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC
• Regular experience driving LGVs/HGVs
• A good understanding of relevant transport and driving legislation
• A strong focus on safety, compliance and customer service
• Good attention to detail and the ability to complete paperwork accurately
• A professional and reliable approach to work
