Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing and distribution business in the Sheffield area to recruit an experienced HGV Driver. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stable weekday hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to become part of a successful and growing operation.HGV DriverSheffield Area£17.30 per hourMonday to Friday Core Hours 7:00am - 4:00pmKey Responsibilities:Carry out scheduled deliveries and collections across customer and supplier sites nationwideEnsure goods are transported safely, securely, and efficientlyConduct routine vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirementsAssist with loading and unloading vehicles when requiredComplete delivery paperwork, transport records, and proof of delivery documentation accuratelyAdhere to all driver hours, tachograph, and transport compliance regulationsMaintain high standards of road safety and professional driving practicesBuild positive working relationships with customers and colleaguesReport any operational issues, incidents, or delays promptlyRequirements:Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence (Class 1 preferred)Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious experience within a commercial driving or delivery environmentGood understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirementsStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to complete documentation accurately and efficientlyProfessional, reliable, and ..... full job details .....
