Hgv Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Motherwell area. We are looking for multiple HGV (CAT C and C+E) to join the team.

Roles:

• Class 1 Days
• Class 1 Twilight
• Class 1 Nights
• Class 2 Days
• Class 2 Nights

Hours:-Shifts run across Monday to Sunday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)

• Class 1 Days- 06:00am- 09:00am start time
• Class 1 Twilight- 14:00pm- 16:00pm start time
• Class 1 Nights- 21:00pm- 23:59pm start time
• Class 2 Days- 06:00am- 09:00am start time
• Class 2 Nights- 21:00pm - 23:59pm start time

Pay Rate:

• Class 1 Days- -14.36 per hour PAYE
• Class 1 Twilight- -14.36 per hour PAYE
• Class 1 Nights- -15.87 per hour PAYE
• Class 2 Days - -14.25 per hour PAYE
• Class 2 Nights- -15.51 per hour PAYE

Location:-Motherwell, ML1

Job Type:-Ongoing with opportunity for permanent.

The role:

- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

- Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

- Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.

- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C or C+E).

. 3 months experience required for class 1

- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

- Full understanding of WTD legislation.

- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

- Excellent communication skills.

- A safety-first mindset.
