HGV Driver class 2 - Hiab

We are a well-established landscaping merchant based in Derby, seeking a reliable and skilled HIAB HGV Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of fencing, landscaping and building goods to our customers across the region.Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend work as needed Key Responsibilities: Operate an HGV vehicle with HIAB crane to load, transport, and unload fencing and landscaping materials. Our fleet consists of 18ton and 13ton wagons. Ensure deliveries are completed on schedule while maintaining excellent customer service. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly. Adhere to all health, safety, and road traffic regulations. Assist with occasional yard duties as required. Requirements: Valid HGV (Class 2 or Class 1) driving licence with HIAB certification. CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. Proven experience as an HGV driver, ideally with HIAB operations. Strong knowledge of UK road networks, with preference for familiarity with the Derby area. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
