Adecco are currently recruiting for HGV Refuse & Recycling Drivers to work on assignment with our client based in Sandwell.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Environmental Services team delivering essential waste and recycling services to local residents and businesses across the borough.

Working alongside a dedicated team of Loaders, you''ll help keep communities clean, safe and environmentally responsible while providing excellent customer service.

The Role

As an HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver, you will:

• Drive a pre-planned collection route alongside your team of Loaders.
• Collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before commencing your route.
• Ensure your vehicle is clean, safe and ready for work each day.
• Act as a professional representative of the Environmental Services team within the local community.
• Work safely and efficiently to meet operational targets and service standards.
• Support your team to deliver an efficient and reliable collection service.

What We''re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Be reliable, hardworking and safety conscious.
• Be physically fit due to the nature of the role.
• Have a positive attitude and excellent team-working skills.
• Be willing to support colleagues and go the extra mile to ensure routes are completed successfully.
• Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.
