Pay Rates: Including holiday pay Days

Class 2 Day Driver

• Hours: 06.30 – 07:00 starts
• Rate: £24.30per hour (Holiday pay inclusive)
• Rate 2: £21.50 per hour (Holiday accrued)
• Store delivers and collections 2-3 drops per shift
• Full training/induction provided as required
• Based on a 55 week inclusive of breaks.

Estimated pay £24.30 per hour would work out £1,084.05 gross pay per week or  an annual salary of £56,370.60 (Rolled up pay).

OR  option 2:

£21.50 per hour with your holiday pay and you accrue 2.3 days holiday per month. Weekly pay is £967.50 gross pay or £50,310 per year.

The role

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail, hospitality, and business customers
• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with road and safety regulations
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Load and unload goods, often involving manual handling
• Ensure all deliveries are accurate and supported by correct paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
• Follow planned routes and delivery schedules
• Adhere to all driving laws, working time directives, and tachograph regulations.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Job information

• Monday to Friday only
• 9 hour shifts
• 45 hours per week
• Days Shifts

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience (ideally in a cash & carry or FMCG environment)
• Good knowledge of local road networks
• Physically fit due to manual handling requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
