HGV Class 2 Trade Waste DriverWidnes£14.47 per hourHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridayStart Time: Between 03:00 and 04:00Overtime: £18.09 per hour after 40 hours, including weekend overtime opportunitiesPaid Breaks: YesAbout the Role• We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our busy Widnes depot.• You will be responsible for safely and efficiently collecting and transporting commercial and industrial waste using a modern HGV fleet.• This is a stable, full-time position offering consistent Monday to Friday shifts, a paid break and the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime.Key Responsibilities• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for commercial and industrial waste collections• Collect and transport waste safely and efficiently• Plan and follow efficient routes to maximise productivity• Provide excellent customer service at customer sites• Ensure collection areas are left clean and tidy• Ensure bins and containers are correctly positioned• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly• Comply with waste duty of care requirements• Follow drivers hours, tachograph and road safety regulations• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers• Carry out manual handling tasks when requiredRequirements• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence• Valid Driver CPC• Valid Digital Tachograph card• Previous experience within the waste sector ..... full job details .....
