HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Rushden area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers (working away) to join the team.

Hours:-Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.
Pay Rate:15.00 per hour PAYE with -25 per night out allowance
Location:-Rushden, NN10-
Job Type: Temporary to permanent.

The Role

• Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate, topsoil, etc.
• Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.
• Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C)
• 2 years experience on Class 2
• Minimum 12 months experience on tippers are required
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Interview will be required (induction and short driving assessment will take place the same day)-
• Excellent communication skills.
