We are looking for experienced Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday, Around 10am starts but drivers may need to be flexible-(average of 8 hour shifts) Pay Rate: Monday to Friday - -17.35 / Saturdays -20.50 / Sundays - -20.50 per hour PAYE Start times: 10AM Location: Hayes, UB3. The role: - Collect clinical waste from various healthcare facilities, including care homes and hospitals. - Prepare the vehicle for daily operations. - Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal. - Perform local collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism. - Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections. - Depending on the volume, complete 35 to 60 collections during your shift. - Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves some heavy lifting.
