We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse and Recycling Drivers to join a dedicated and professional team supporting essential waste and recycling services across Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with the potential to move into permanent employment. The Role As an HGV Class 2 Refuse and Recycling Driver, you will play a key role in keeping the city clean and supporting environmental sustainability. Working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include: Safely operating a Class 2 refuse and recycling vehicle. Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects. Assisting with the collection of waste and recycling materials. Loading and unloading recycling boxes and containers. Pushing and pulling bins weighing up to 25kg. Using mobile technology to complete operational paperwork and route information. Providing support to other service areas, including recycling and garden waste collections when required.
