About the Role
Rapier Employment is recruiting an HGV Class 2 - Nights driver for a client based in Normanton. This full-time contract role offers £38,912 per annum, with a guaranteed 48 paid hours weekly at £15.59 per hour. The position involves night shifts, completing 7 to 10 multi-drop deliveries to dealerships on a three-week rotation. Responsibilities include loading cages onto the trailer before leaving the depot, delivering items, and unloading at customer premises. Candidates must hold a valid Cat C licence, Digital Tachograph Card, and CPC qualification. Physical fitness for lifting heavy goods is essential, along with a maximum of six penalty points and no DR10, CD10, or IN10 endorsements. This role may lead to a permanent position for the right person.

Rapier Employment are currently seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for our client in the Normanton, Wakefield area – This will lead to a temp to perm for the right person.
Responsibilities will include:
- Multi drop work between 7-10 per shift
- Delivering to dealerships through the night
- Role involves loading cages onto trailer and delivering to stores through the night. Same places on a 3 week rotation.
- Loading Trailor before leaving site / unloading at customer premises
The ideal candidate.
- “Can do” attitude
- Cat C licence holder
- Physically fit to lift heavy items and take to required location
- No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
- Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
- New passes welcome

48 hours guaranteed per week - £38,934pa - Starts time 2300 – finish 0600 -0800. Job and knock.
