HGV Class 2 Drivers

Customer DescriptionManpower is currently looking for HGV 1 and 2 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Newbridge ( near Edinburgh)Specific tasks will include:Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed and returnedCheck the load security and weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.Ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards in terms of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.Ensuring vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use and are operated in a safe manner.Essential Skills for the role:To hold a valid HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 Licence (with no more than 6 points)Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cardKnowledge of working time directiveMulti-Drop experienceExperience working with Steel Hours of work will be dayshift Monday to Friday.Apply now for more details!If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website. ..... full job details .....
