Hours: 42.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 6.30am - 3.30pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)

Location: Lynnbottom Household Waste Recycling Centre, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 2PD

What you''ll be doing;



With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.

• Heavy lifting and manual handling of trade waste bins and containers
  
• Moving and repositioning heavy commercial bins and euro containers as required
  
• Servicing commercial premises, including shops, businesses, and industrial sites
  
• Completing daily vehicle checks (walkaround checks) and reporting defects
  
• Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company health & safety policies
  
• Maintaining accurate records, including driver defect reports and tachograph compliance
  
• Working across all weather conditions throughout the year
  
• Expectation to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Willingness to work overtime as requested by management
  

What are we looking for?

• Cat C (Class 2) licence and previous experience in HGV Driving.
  
• Must have a current CPC and Digi Card
