HGV Class 2 Driver - Join Our Home Delivery Team! Location: Burton-on-Trent DE14 Pay Rate: £15.70 per hour (first 48 hours), £23.55 per hour (overtime) Type of Job: Temporary (Temp to Perm Opportunities Available) A pay rate increase is agreed from July for the below rates to be in place. July 2026 - Pay Rate: £16.17 per hour (first 48 hours), £24.26 per hour (overtime) Our client based in Burton-on-Trent is currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their busy home delivery team. You will be part of a two-man team, delivering a variety of items, from small items like taps to larger deliveries such as kitchens and bathrooms. There is an opportunity for this to become a temp-to-perm position, with the potential for ongoing work and guaranteed weekly hours. We''re looking for experienced drivers with a minimum of 6-12 months'' driving experience and no more than 3 points on your driving licence. Your Time at Work As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers'' homes. You''ll work as part of a 2-man team, with the assistance of lifting equipment to ensure safe and efficient deliveries. Uniforms and the required equipment will be provided, and you will be expected to maintain a professional, customer-facing appearance.
