We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm start Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour PAYE Location: Tipton, DY4 8XP Job Type: Ongoing The role: Collecting offensive waste (in Eurobins) from 25-30 customers depending on distance. Upon return to the depot, the waste will be tipped into a trailer for onward movement to a disposal site Vehicles can be up to 32t but will predominately be 16t. Prepare the vehicle for daily operations. Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal. Perform collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism. Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections. Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves some heavy lifting. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Have at least 12 months of experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
