HGV Class 2 Driver

We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to SundayHours: 01:00am - 05:00am starts through week, Sunday is 11am - 12pm startsPay Rate:After 3am - £14.60 PAYEBefore 3am - £15.61 PAYELocation: Plymouth, PL6Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanentThe role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units. Handling runs with 1-2 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift. Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills.
