Job Description:HGV Class 2 DriverDust Cart Work for Local CouncilTunbridge Wells 19.05 to 21.29 per hourAttractive Benefits PackageMonday to Friday plus some Weekends5:30 am start8 to 10 hours per shift guaranteedYou will be expected to assist loaders with bin collectionsHi-Viz and safety clothing providedThis role is temporary for an ongoing period.PAYE ONLYThe RoleWe are seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our busy commercial and residential waste management team located in Tunbridge Wells. The ideal candidates will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with Dust Cart vehiclesResponsibilitiesSafely operate dust cart vehicles to collect and transport waste to designated locations.Ensure timely collection and delivery of waste while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.Communicate and assist loaders to effectively coordinate the collection and loading of wasteConduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any mechanical issues promptly.Maintain accurate records of collections, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.Provide excellent customer service on routes, addressing any questions or concerns from residents or clients.Experience and QualificationsValid HGV Class 2 driving licence with a clean driving record - no more than 6 points and no major endorsements.Up-to-date CPC and Tacho cardsIf you are a motivated individual seeking a dynamic role as a HGV ..... full job details .....
