HGV Class 2 Driver / Scaffolder/ scaff labourer

The HGV Class 2 Driver / Scaffolder / Scaffolder Labourer is responsible for the safe transportation, loading and unloading of scaffolding materials, whilst assisting with the erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with company procedures, industry standards and health and safety regulations.The role requires the operative to safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to deliver and collect scaffolding equipment from sites, depots and suppliers, ensuring all loads are secured and transported in compliance with road traffic legislation. In addition, the operative will support scaffolders with the erection and dismantling of independent scaffolds, birdcages, temporary roofs, edge protection systems and other access solutions.Key responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining vehicle checks and defect reports, handling scaffolding materials, maintaining site housekeeping, following lifting and manual handling procedures, and ensuring compliance with SG4, TG20 and all company health and safety requirements.The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
