This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking ongoing work with regular weekday hours and immediate starts available.The role involves driving both 26-tonne and 7.5-tonne refuse collection vehicles as required, while also supporting the loading crew to ensure collection routes are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with service level agreements.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out daily refuse and recycling collections across designated routesSafely operate 26-tonne and 7.5-tonne collection vehicles when requiredAssist with refuse loading duties to support the crew and ensure routes are completed on timeOperate collection machinery safely and effectivelyUndertake all duties professionally using safe lifting and manual handling techniquesUse in-cab technology and mobile devices as directedComplete all relevant paperwork and records accurately and in real timeConduct daily vehicle and machinery inspections before and after use, reporting any defects promptlyEnsure the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles and equipmentDeliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public and other road ..... full job details .....
