Hgv Class 2 Driver

Proactive Personnel are seeking a Class 2 Drivers to join our clients team in Nelson, Lancashire ASAP! Duties: The post holder shall be required, after training, to drive a wide range of cleansing equipment such as LGV refuse collection Vehicles, mechanical sweepers, loading shovel, gully taker in addition to compact mechanical sweepers and 3.5T pick ups. The post holder shall also be required to use a works issued mobile telephone, digital tacograph equipment and any in cab communication systems introduced in the future as part of our clients bid to improve service delivery. To provide efficient and effective refuse/recycling collection service in the removal of household waste including bulky goods, industrial and commercial refuse, co-mingled waste and garden waste from a variety of locations e.g. domestic, shops, schools farms etc To monitor on a day-to-day basis your progress and to be responsible for reporting any problems or reasons for shortfalls back to the supervisory staff. To ensure work is completed in accordance within the time, quality and standard. Hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 15:30 and Friday 07:30 - 15:00. Pay is 15.10 per hour paid weekly. Please be aware this is a temporary position, we cannot guarantee a permanent contract. Requirements: Valid Class 2 Driving License. Ability to deal with customers and members of the public in a respectful/appropriate manner. Possession and ability to use digital tacograph.
