HGV Class 2 Driver

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing client base across the local area.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential for permanent opportunities. We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop and/or palletised deliveries to commercial and residential customers
• Loading and unloading vehicles where required
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork and electronic records
• Following all road transport legislation and company procedures
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of drivers'' hours and working time regulations
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude towards work
