HGV Class 2 Driver
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our client based in Paddock Wood, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term role with excellent pay and the potential to secure a permanent position.
Location: Paddock Wood, Kent
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
No weekend work
Contract: Ongoing temporary role with a temp-to-perm opportunity
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle carrying out local deliveries and collections across Kent and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for an experienced Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Cat C Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid Driver, or Delivery Driver seeking regular weekday work.
Alongside driving duties, the successful HGV Class 2 Driver will also support yard operations when required.
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties Include:

Local deliveries and collections (depot-to-depot)
Driving a Class 2 / Category C vehicle
Assisting with general yard duties during quieter periods
Completing daily vehicle checks

HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, Category C Driver, or Cat C Driver
Positive attitude and willingness to assist with yard duties
