HGV Class 2 Driver

Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (18 Tonne) Location: BedfordHours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am til finish - 40 hour weekSalary: £19.23 an hour, weekly pay (+ performance bonus of £600 a quarter)Overtime available on weekend (occasionally) - paid at doubleImmediate Start Available - Temporary to Permanent opportunity OA are currently working with a well established client based in Bedford, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, HGV Class 2 Driver to support the delivery and collection of products across the UK. Duties of a HGV Driver: Safely operate an HGV to deliver furniture and goods to commercial client sites across the UK, with typically 2-3 deliveries per day depending on location and route.Load, secure, transport and unload goods safely, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition and on schedule.Provide professional customer service at delivery locations, communicating clearly and courteously with clients and representing the company positively.Complete occasional collections from suppliers, clients or other locations as required, ensuring all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.Carry out daily vehicle checks and comply with all relevant driving, vehicle, health and safety and transport regulations.
