HGV Class 2 Driver

Motiva Recruitment is recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers for regular temporary and ongoing work with established builders'' merchants and distribution businesses.We are looking to build a reliable local driver pool to cover planned bookings, holidays, sickness and longer-term assignments. Work is available across several local branches rather than at one single depot.The role: Driving Class 2 vehicles on local and regional deliveries Delivering building materials to commercial and residential customers Completing daily vehicle checks Ensuring loads and paperwork are checked before departure Following site, transport and health and safety procedures Providing a professional service when dealing with customers Keeping the transport team informed of any delays or delivery issuesTypical start times are between 6:00am and 7:30am, Monday to Friday. Shift lengths and availability will vary depending on the assignment.Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Recent Class 2 driving experience Good knowledge of drivers'' hours and working-time regulations A reliable and professional approach No serious or recent driving convictionsAdditional HIAB or Moffett qualifications are beneficial but are not essential for this particular position.What we offer: Regular local driving opportunities Weekly pay A variety of short-term and ongoing assignments Early notification of available bookings Opportunities with ..... full job details .....
